Terms of Service

Effective Date: 19 June 2026 | Last Updated: 04 July 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By visiting, searching, or subscribing to UKComplianceRegister.co.uk (the "Service"), operated by UK Compliance Register, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must immediately cease using our services.

2. Description of Service

We operate a B2B regulatory complaints directory mapping compliance variables of UK organisations under the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 (DUAA). For registered subscribers, we provide custom complaints intake portal hosting, dynamic trust badges, and automated SLA compliance logging.

3. Directory Subscriptions & Fees

Registry listing packages are billed annually upfront at £499/year. Fees are non-refundable after your complaints portal node has been deployed and registered. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled via your dashboard before the renewal date.

4. Customer Conduct & Complaint Handling

Registered organisations must monitor their dashboard and acknowledge received complaints within the statutory 30-calendar-day SLA. Falsifying complaint records or failing to acknowledge complaints can result in immediate directory suspension and reporting to B2B credit rating agencies.

5. Limitation of Liability

We compile public records and scanned web checks. While we endeavour to keep listings accurate, we are not responsible for Companies House registry delays or third-party DNS changes. Under no circumstances will UK Compliance Register be liable for lost contracts, tender rejections, business interruptions, or regulatory/statutory fines (including but not limited to those levied by the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) or under the DUAA 2025). Our maximum aggregate liability under these terms is strictly capped at the amount paid by you for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

6. No Legal or Professional Advice

UK Compliance Register is a technical software registry and complaints intake service provider. We are not a law firm, regulatory body, DPO service, or solicitor. The compliance templates, privacy policies, automated checklists, and AI-generated dispute drafts provided by our platform are strictly for administrative reference purposes and do not constitute legal advice. Subscribers are solely responsible for auditing and approving their own policies and dispute responses with qualified legal counsel.
